Private Cookery Lessons
We aim to amaze & delight you & your guests with private cookery lessons in your own home for up to three people. Using your own kitchen equipment we aim to teach the skills needed to prepare new dishes for stunning dinner parties. All ingredients are included in the cost of the course.
Courses are available five afternoons a week (Tuesday – Saturday) from 3pm to 6pm. We recommend the following (please contact us should you require a course to suit):
Fish Cookery £350 (not available Tuesdays)
Learn how to prepare a stunning two course fish dinner for you to enjoy after we leave. Ingredients supplied will be sufficient for four people.
Bread Making £250
The secrets of successful bread making (made by hand – no need for bread makers!). A selection of artisan breads (white, brown, brioche & flavoured) will be cooked and ready to serve for dinner. Ingredients supplied will be sufficient for 6 loaves. Once cooked breads can be frozen.
Taste of Thailand £350
Tony lived & worked in Thailand for 2 years and will teach you the art of Royal Thai Cuisine suited to your guests’ tastes. Ingredients supplied will be sufficient for a two course Thai Supper for six.
Purely Shellfish £400 (not available Tuesdays)
Live Lobster, crabs, clams, oysters & mussels. We’ll teach you how to produce an array of dishes for a truly special dinner party. Ingredients supplied will be sufficient to serve 4. This course will take 4 hours (2-6pm).
Chocolate £325
Learn how to use British Entrepreneur Willie Harcourt Cooze’s finest chocolate to create memorable desserts. Dishes include chocolate mousse, petit fours, chocolate pot & chocolate decoration.
All course prices above include all travel expenses within 20 miles of The Wheatsheaf (SN16 9TB). Courses costs are payable in advance. Dates can be amended without an additional charge. Any cancellations will incur a 50% charge if cancelled more than 72 hours in advance. If cancelled within 72 hours course costs will be non-refundable.
